Turning...

As I was just sitting here waiting to go into a meeting, I noticed a butterfly had landed near me. I marveled at its wings which were beautifully crafted and designed. It gracefully landed and ascended in the same effortless manner. I begin to think about the caterpillar it once used took the appearance of at some stage in its life. In this form, no one saw it as it walked the ground going fairly unnoticed by many. Then it was time for the cocoon. The place it had to toil with dread and isolate to grow and develop to its creative manifestation of a butterfly. We all start out as the caterpillar. Some of us (myself included) have entered into the cocoon. It is a place where grow with it rough demands must cut, purge, and transform our whole makeup to get us to our true nature. The thing we were created to be before the beginning of times. It's uncomfortable, stressful, tiring, and sometimes downright dismal. Take heart today, because when we arrive at the set time of our manifestation, we can boldly fly with our beautiful captivating wings as the butterfly we were created to be all along.

PING....Enjoy!!!

Peace & Love

  2. Awesome, Crystal! I remember my father spoke to me last year about the butterfly. He made a point of telling me that it is an incredible struggle for the butterfly to emerge from the cocoon. But while it is tearing through he receives nutrients from the very thing holding him captive, allowing him to survive as a butterfly. The most awesome point he made was if man was to touch the cocoon, rip it or help the butterfly out, it wouldn't receive those nutrients to live as God intended it to be.

When we go through our struggles, at times it's to receive strength, spiritual nourishment and faith to elevate to the next level. If someone was to "help" us in our process, they could end up enabling us and we might find ourselves missing or aborting our next level in Christ and life. Isn't God amazing how you can receive exactly what you need from the struggle to prosper and live abundantly in joy just as He intended?

Thank you for your words. I needed that reminder!
