Trick Play on the Field
I HEART FOOTBALL!!!! That being said, some of the best games I've ever seen were games when the underdog is down, it's the 4th quarter, and they have the ball in the redzone. Time is ticking and it's all on the line. The defense is set up to defend a standard play and out of left field comes a TRICK PLAY. Presto chango at the line and the defense was not prepared. Sometimes in life, we are focused on our destiny. All geared for the finishing minute of victory, when out of nowhere we are hit with a trick play. Who saw it coming? What happens next? How do I recover? I was hit with a trick play recently. So focused on the promises on the horizon, I forgot to pay attention to the road just in front of me causing a major blind sided hit to my journey. Though we know the promises lie just ahead, we must also be aware and deal with those small foxes near us. If we fail to empty our proverbial trunks of the small issues of our life, we could very well suffer a setback by a trick play being thrown our way to cut off the vision of the horizons just ahead. I'm on my way to a victory that will catapult me to my next level and so are YOU...Just keep the Faith. He knows your hopes and dreams.

River Rise
"Since you were little, I always knew you were destined to be great at something." Words from my Dad after asking me what I planned to do beyond my current job. At first his words kind of cut me a little, almost to say that I wasn't living up to his expectations for my life....Funny how those same words mean so much more a year later. You ever hear something and not hear it at the same time. Sometimes our circumstances, situations, or in my case, complacency can cloud our view so much so that we can not even hear. My dad spoke those words to me when my life was at a stalled place. I really did not feel like life was going anywhere. You know the place not really moving forward or backwards just still, yet my father saw something in me that I could not anymore (Back story: I was the All-American girl most of my life). My SEED of destiny!!! You see everyone has one because God planted it before our conception; but, it's a matter of tapping into yours to get it watered to produce its fruit filled potential. Hence the river rising (frustration) to water my seed (destiny). As I lay awake the other night like a little kid the night before Christmas, I once again got excited for what the future holds for me. I remembered my dad's words and guess what Pops...now I can see it too. I'm Destined for Greatness.
THANKS DAD FOR BELIEVING IN ME WHEN AT TIMES I STOP BELIEVING IN MYSELF. I LOVE YOU POPPA Happy Father's Day
This quote(slightly paraphrased) sums up my thoughts at this time:
"At the point of commitment, all the universe conspires to help you accomplish your purpose." --Goethe
